Welcome to The Crab 'n' Lobster website. The restaurant has been recently completely refurbished to exacting standards. Prior to closing in 1995 The Crab and Lobster was operated by Kay Flood, apparently she was an excellent host and thus put the restaurant on the culinary map. We have not tried in any way to replicate her offerings, instead Head Chef John Andress, nephew of the infamous Ursula, has created a Menu which is varied and different from other restaurants.
Following the fifteen year closure The Crab and Lobster re-opened its' doors for the first time on 1st April 2010 celebrating the occasion with a preview evening with about eighty invited guests. We had several guest pianist's and vocalist. The evening was one to remember and to many, old memories flooded back.
The restaurant is aimed at the fine dining customer, much emphasis will be placed on providing a romantic ambiance combined with affordable fine food served with sophistication.
